THE ALAIN BRUGNON AWARD: SUPPORT FOR CONTEMPORARY CREATION
The « Fondation Taylor » created in 1844 is a non-profit association has been recognized as a public interest body since 1881. Its mission is to spread knowledge and appreciation of the arts thanks to solidarity among artists themselves and the generosity of those who support them. A pioneer in mutualising talents and passions, this association is unique in its endeavour to support and promote art in France.
In 2017, an artist among our clients, was a member of the board of this association and suggested we put up an award for the foundation. Since then, we have enjoyed discovering the winning artist. The Alain BRUGNON award is given to young painters and sculptors.
Unique in the French cultural landscape, the Grands prix support some twenty artists every year. Painters, engravers, sculptors, and drawers, all of the artist members of the association can compete.
An awards ceremony takes place every year at the Théâtre Saint Georges, two steps from the Foundation and it is the occasion for us to meet new artists and personnel. The awards ceremony is followed by the inauguration of the exhibition showcasing all the works by the prize winners of the year. An incredibly rich and eclectic array of work under one roof! Our goal is to propose whenever possible, an exhibition for these artists at our house, or keep track of their success.

EXHIBITIONS « AT HOME »
COME TOGETHER AROUND A CREATION
At least once a year, we organize an exhibition with an artist who is interested in collaborating with us for the space we offer and the idea we propose: a space dedicated to champagne and encounters. An inspiring partnership for creators and an immense pleasure for us, for our visitors and friends.
OPEN HOUSE DAY
RE-CREATION
This day that takes place at the house at the end of May or beginning of June brings together the values mentioned above. We propose an occasion dedicated to creation, encounters and exchange.
We invite you to discover four plastic artists who will display their work, one or two actors for readings, and musicians. All around the most talented of all : champagne !
Free admission, a nice outing for family and friends. We look forward to seeing you!
